Configure the WANdisco CLI
Using a remote Data Migrator host
Use the following command to connect to a remote Data Migrator host.
connect livemigrator --host <hostname>

If using a hostname instead of localhost
, ensure you can access the API functionality by completing the steps linked below:

Using a custom truststore (WANdisco CLI)
Use the following steps to create a custom truststore in the WANdisco® CLI. This will secure connections between Hive Migrator and Data Migrator.
Create a file:
Examplevi /example/filepath/my-wandisco-cli
Add the following lines to the file, replacing
<path to truststore>
with the location of your truststore and<password>
with your truststore password.export LIVEDATA_MIGRATOR_OPTS="-Djavax.net.ssl.trustStore=<path to truststore> -Djavax.net.ssl.trustStorePassword=<password>"
/opt/wandisco/livedata-migrator-cli/bin/livedata-migrator -hostname <FQDN>Save the file.
Make the file executable:
Example:chmod +x my-wandisco-cli
Run the CLI:
/example/filepath/my-wandisco-cli
Connect to Data Migrator:
connect livemigrator --host <hostname> --ssl
