Configure a local filesystem target

Configure a local filesystem as a target using either the UI or the CLI.

UI

Configure a local filesystem as a target with the UI

To add a local target filesystem from your Dashboard:

1. Select the relevant instance from the Instances panel.
2. Under the Filesystems & Agents menu, select Filesystems.
3. Select Add target filesystem.
4. Select Local Filesystem as Filesystem Type.
5. Enter a Display Name for the target.
6. Enter a Mount Point. This is the directory in the local filesystem to use as the target filesystem.
7. Select Save.

CLI

Configure a local filesystem as a target with the CLI

You can define multiple target filesystems to which you can migrate simultaneously. For more information about creating a local filesystem target using the CLI, see below:
